Steel media are
used for burnishing processes. They can give an extremely high polished
surfaces to most metal componets in very short process periods. Often,
mirror-like finishes on components can be achieved.
Steel media
used in barrels, vibratory finishing machines for various metal
finishing applications, including polishing of gold and silver
jewelry, zinc diecastings, cast aluminum, hinges, bearing cages,
pistons, sintered bushes, watch parts, zip sliders;burnishing of
coin blanks and stampings, jewellery, cutlery, and copper pipe
fittings; mirror finishing of spoons and flatware, etc. |

Magnetic Polishing Pins |
Magnetic polishing pins, made of stainless steel materials (304), high magnetic strength, wear-resistance, suitable for various Magnetic Tumblers machines, to be used with lighter and more delicate jewelry components, like filigree articles and to be able to get inside openings and undercuts during the finishing operation.
The selection of magnetic polishing pins
The thicker the steel pins, the stronger the polishing force.
The pins diameter larger than 0.5mm are recommended for polishing of harder material such as stainless steel and iron.
The pins diameter less than 0.5mm are recommended for polishing of softer material such as copper and aluminum parts. |
